Nurture Youth Reforms Association NYRA

The Nurture Youth Reforms Association(NYRA) foundation is a non-profit organization devoted to the long-term development of India's young girls. Approximately 6.7 per cent of the Indian population, or 84 million citizens, continue to live in extreme poverty, with daily earning of less than 32 rupees. Poverty has become one of the biggest reasons why virtually every girl in these homes is forced to turn away from the joys of adolescence and their opportunity to schooling and have to work all day in order to survive another day. This not only has a short-term effect on the child's psychology but additionally causes a slew of socioeconomic problems, preventing the adolescents from being literate and empowered in order to attain social and economic sustainability.
We established this foundation to address the needs of socially and economically disadvantaged families. We believed that one of the most important aspects that may help us turn the tide and give them hope for a better future is literacy.

It came to our notice that many of the students in our nation are struggling to afford the fundamental human right which is literacy. We have started motley programs running across the nation, and with countless volunteers spread around every nook and cranny of the nation.

We partner with independent local institutes that are on the frontline and are tackling the grassroots issues regarding the education of adolescent girls and share our passion for creating a better future for these kids. So, we've started a campaign to pay for their entire schooling so that they can achieve their full academic potential.
